The Beatle's first single - "Love Me Do" - "PS I love you" in the United Kingdom published October 5, 1962

Review of "Love Me Do" Today it is difficult to understand, perhaps, what song was the inspiration for this reason that so many people in the UK in 1962. I know that you really understand what kind of music was popular then and how different "Love Me Do" sound. Although it was not really a great song, has a certain charisma, a certain "rock n roll" attitude that set it apart.

I think the best way to understand this isto listen to "How Do You Do?" What is the song that was their producer Martin Georgian them as a single release. This was not one of their originals (like "Love Me Do" was) was a song "professionally written" and although it is catchy, in fact, like "Love Me Do" (and reached # 1 for three weeks, when Gerry And The Pacemakers released their version in 1963), does not have the emotions that the original Beatles.

A-side "Love Me Do"

A verysimple song into three agreements are based. In fact, it's mostly friends on two agreements with a third base come in a big "surprise" on the bridge. But simple is not necessarily a bad thing. It reached a rather catchy melody and simple 4-note riff on harmonica by John Lennon, in memory of the listener, and wedge.

B-side "PS I Love You"

While "Love Me Do", but certainly not as memorable as that song is actually a bit 'more musicalComplexity and in some ways anticipates most of the Beatles after work (in a subtle way.) I think what is remarkable how different is that sounds A-side. It 'a completely different style. This is the first sign of a great brand Beatles: Variety.
