U.S. Box Office: Titanic (1997) Deconstructed

The Hero's Journey is the model underlying the majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters on. In fact, all Hollywood movies we have deconstructed are based on this model.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters.

The Hero's Journey:

a) Attempts to exploit the unconscious expectationsthe public has a story about what it is and how it should be said.

b) gives the writer more structural elements acting merely three or four plot points, center, and so on.

interpreted c) metaphorical and symbolic side, it allows an infinite number of different stories to be created.
