The history of the blues and Poor Man's Blues

The blues is a form of music, singing, instrumental music (blues) may be, or both. It uses the 'blue' notes which are based on a note "pentatonic minor" most of the time, otherwise as the blues scale.

Blues was derived from African-American community in the U.S. jobless songs, spiritual songs, field shouts, sings, shouts and simple ballads that rhymed derivative. Many aspects of the blues are indicative of African influence.
